duck egg blue

I discovered this beautiful, fragile little blue egg, broken in the garden.
I wonder what happened and who had been growing inside?

    aren't they beautiful?
    It's impossible to look at an egg shell and not experience total awe and wonder in the natural world - don't you agree?
