it's just not cricket

Mr Bingley

I was outside relaxing .. when my curious streak got the better of me ..

so I went forth ...

pausing by the herbs, I had a sudden thought!

I could go on a cricket hunt...!

I took up station on the grass and scrutinised it without blinking for a whole minute.

anything that moved I examined ...

 ... very closely

But this is all I found. I'll hunt again tomorrow!

What is that thing in the last photo? First I thought it was someone's sock. But seeing other comments, it might be slug!
