illuminate

Katie Isabella won an award called 'illuminate' and now she has asked me, her friend Mr Darcy, to participate too by illuminating something about me!

Darcy

One of the special things about me is my voice.
I have a lot to say and do.
I can hold an ever rising note for at least 20 seconds.
Sometimes I just walk around yowling and sometimes I prefer to hold eye contact and do it.
If I am coming to find Mrs H, then I shout out that I am coming from the very moment I set off, until I locate her. This is especially enjoyable if I know she is making an impawtant telephone call and the person she is speaking to thinks she is at work!

  1. Hahaha! We think Mrs. H. must really appreciate that, Darcy. Our Nicki tends to be a "screamer," but we think you outdo him, handily!

  2. Oh Mr Darcy, I have to tell you my mommy is making those sounds again that they call laughing! That about others thinking she is at work and you come yowling in looking for her and giving it all away was what set MY mom off!

Thank you Mr Darcy for your delightful illuminating fact.

    Love and hugs,

    Katie Isabella, your admirer

  7. I think it must be something to do with being a Birman - our Birman, Oscar - howls and howls too! If someone is at home he refuses point blank to use the cat flap and just howls outside the front door until someone opens it! It is not too bad during the day as other noise levels camouflage his howls but at night-time you can hear it from some distance! We're expecting to receive an anti-social order application in the post!

  8. So, Darcy, it sounds as though Ms. he should have named you after a famous tenor rather than a literary character!
