It's beautiful and very small ~ so I suspect that the cottage is old. The older cottages always seem to have smaller doors because the folk were much shorter in the past (diet and health played a part). I frequently take pics of doors (I've got quite a collection) ~ for some reason they fascinate me.
I'd want to knock on the door and go in for a cup of tea and a tour! :-)
ReplyDeleteA very inviting door thats for sure! So pleased to have found your blog - Mr Darcy and Mr Bingley look adorably handsome.

Do you know..on a few occasions, I have actually knocked on a door where there was something to my interest. I have yet to be treated rudely.

I bet if you'd take courage by the hand and knocked, you'd have found some kindred spirits! What a lovely door front... great photo.
