Darcy
I am roaring my fiercest disapproval and WARNING. Bad things have been happening to our blog (and to some others we know). Mrs H has been in fits of bother and rushing around ringing people (they all seem to be called 'Geek'). Anyway, with help it’s been sorted. If any of you have the snowflake widget on your computer we think you should remove it right away, and run your disk clean and clear your cookie cache. It is causing no end of problems, redirecting blogs to weird sites. We care about you.
Oh, which snowflake widget is it - I know there are a couple out there - we don't have ours up anymore, but I wanted to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, you know I am not too sure which snow flake, because I deleted everything about it. Maybe blogger help can be more specific. Helen
ReplyDeleteWe had a snowflake up but no problems with ours.
ReplyDeleteHi JC - yes, we did too, for at least a month and with no problems until this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the warning!
ReplyDeleteWell, Darcy, I've never been called a Geek before !!

thanks for the warning & your great comment on the blog, what a coincidence about you coming from Bath too! Lizzie x
ReplyDeleteSorry you've had trouble!
ReplyDeleteI've never trusted snowflakes.
Happy Super Bowl Weekend!

We got rid of most of our widgets last year when we had all sorts of problems...so no snowflakes for us!
ReplyDeleteWe only used Wordpress's own snowflakes ~ which are safe.
ReplyDeleteThey don't call them flakes for nothing...
