Mr Bingley
I was outside relaxing .. when my curious streak got the better of me ..
so I went forth ...
pausing by the herbs, I had a sudden thought!
I could go on a cricket hunt...!
I took up station on the grass and scrutinised it without blinking for a whole minute.
anything that moved I examined ...
... very closely
But this is all I found. I'll hunt again tomorrow!

Aacckk! Gross! Ugh, we hope you didn't eat it. A cricket would be much tastier, we think!
ReplyDeleteShouldn't that guy have a house on him?
ReplyDeleteYikes is that a slug?!?!? Yes I'd prefer a cricket too :-)
ReplyDeleteUgh. Was that a slug? Hopefully tomorrow will bring some crickets!
ReplyDeleteAlas, sweet Bingley. Slugs are nowhere near as much fun as crickets. Hope you have better luck tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
????? What IS that thing?????

We think a cricket would be better because it is crunchy.
ReplyDeleteWe know you'll find crickets tomorrow. Do they taste like chicken?
ReplyDeletealas, I can't think of ANYTHING that wants to eat a large slug!

Cricket hunt sounds fun! And they are crunchy :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat is that thing in the last photo? First I thought it was someone's sock. But seeing other comments, it might be slug!
Hahahahah! Enjoy your yard!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that slimy thing?!? I think I would also prefer a nice, crunchy cricket.
ReplyDeleteAren't crickets fun? Watch out for preying mantissesss though. They CLAW!
ReplyDeleteHunt while you are young!! Jake is old enough now that all he chases are the clumps of grass left by the mower...
ReplyDeleteSweethearts, I have missed you.
