Celebrating a hand-made life ~ 2

... Showcasing the silk cocoon he has had since a little boy and which he presented to me.
A dear and special  little keepsake which I treasure because it was his.

This post is part of Josie's My Home Made Happy theme of HANDS  ..come and see..

  1. That's really very special - thanks for your comment on mine too. I really like this hand-made idea, the way that taking it literally makes you think so much more about daily activities.

  2. It's all the more precious for having been kept so long. And fascinating to think about the little boy who first discovered the cocoon, was moved by it and chose to keep it safely all these long years.
Happy days to you dear :-)

  3. What a wonderful post! How very sweet and special.

  4. I have a cotton bol in a jamjar for exactly the same reason...

  5. That's really wonderful, especially that he's had the cocoon since he was a lad.

  6. Oh my goodness I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that.
    Hugs Madi
