snowy daffodils!

"The trouble with weather forecasting is that it's right too often for us to ignore it and wrong too often for us to rely on it"  ~ Patrick Young
One minute we were enjoying the daffodils and counting our blessings for a bright and mild Winter...

... and then THIS happened!

... can you spot Mr Bingley ...

.. and here is Mr Darcy venturing forth..!

... arctic cat ..

.. but then returned (with snow clods in his paw pads)...

Mr Bingley
... inside watching from the window ...

.. and that is enough snow for today...

Thursday in the Garden

...And then it snowed again, fat flakes that fell all night and all day toppling over the plants and wrenching down some of our guttering. It found a way into the bedroom forming a damp patch on the ceiling. But we all loved it.
Darcy ventured out, Bingley not so brave (or foolish).

This is how much snow had fallen at 8.00am

Darcy on the prowl

heading for cover ...

.. to watch the birdies...

Snug, warm Bingley ("get me out there..? gotta be joking!")

Finally Darcy returns for a bit of birdie watching from comfort...

Its been very WHITE here, we've never seen snow before and we LIKE it, in fact we even ended up rolling in it! (woof)
